I can. I just got a cellphone recently that has Internet access. The subscription is costing me a FORTUNE so I'm trying to use it when I can. So far I have checked for directions and maps, located a restaurant menu, checked stock prices and the Dow closing figure (for a friend, not for ME!), and answered a few quick reference style questions that came up in conversation. I've also checked several blogs, of course. I think for people who are accustomed to having Internet access it's a handy feature to have it with you. And for librarians who are accustomed to having information resources on hand it's a plus. I can't say I've really needed it but it has been enjoyable. I'm going away for a while where I won't be able to have regular internet access and I to like the idea that I'll be able to check my email still.
